Sunday night we went to Huey's (The world famous burger joint here in Memphis) to hear one of our favorite bands, Gabby Johnson! We love them and they are special to us because they played at our wedding, not to mention that we went to see them on our first date. So they are friends of ours and we always enjoy going to see them and supporting them as a local band. We got there about 8:45 and 3 hours and too many beers and shots later (yes . . . shots - Yikes!) decided to go to Tunica with some friends and go to the casino's. I have not been to Tunica in ages (even though it is only like 20 minuets away from where we live) - so we went and decided to go to Harrah's. Mike was off work Monday and I didn't have to be at work till 3, otherwise we would not and do no usually stay out that late. We used to back in the day, but as we are getting older we don't stay out that late anymore. Mike played a little Roulette and didn't win big, but we did walk out of there with an extra $20 - so that's always good. Better then losing money!
We had a good time of course, but I think I have my fix of going out for a while! ha ha
Oh - and I got my hair trimmed Thurs. and decided to get my bangs trimmed and do the actual "bang" thing for a lil while. Still trying to get used to it. I can still swoop them to the side or pull them back with a headband if I want to, so that's good. Just a little change from time to time is refreshing! And I also wore my new halter from TJ Maxx! I liked it a lot and want to go get it in a couple more colors!!
