I wanted to share what I have done in the dining room for Easter this year. We don't have huge plans, but I couldn't help myself and had to do a little something "Eastery." The only thing I bought really to decorate with was the tulips. Other then that everything else I already had or pulled form another room. If we were having a big family lunch like we have in the past, I would probably do more, but I wanted to keep it classy and simple.
I took 2 silver candle holders & 2 of my twig bowls and placed the bowsl on top of the candle holders, then filled them with lemons.
I also had this stick decorative piece. I love it but have never figured out exactly what I wanted to do with it or how to use it after having it for a year. But I had a light bulb go off in my head moment the other day and I stuck tulips down in it. I loved how it turned out!
This silver cross paper weight is such a great reminder of what the TRUE meaning of Easter is! I have had this since I was in Jr. High, someone gave it to me as a gift.
I made these little buckets that I'm going to fill with candy and give to a few people. I thought instead of Easter baskets, I would go for Easter buckets! Aren't they cute?? Oh and it only cost me $2 to make. Got the buckets at the Dollar store, printed off the polka dot paper and used ribbon and raffia that I had.
