Beret, Yay or Nay . . .

Do you ever see someone wearing something and think it's super cute and you buy it for yourself but then feel like an idiot if you try to wear it?? I have. I just recently bought a fabulous Black Sequin Beret, and I love it, just not so sure I love it on me. I have been noticing quite a few people wearing them. Regular peeps as well as celebs, so I thought what the heck, and bought one. But when I put it on, I had a hard time trying to figure out how to wear it! Do I wear it pushed pack, just kind of perched on my head, or do I wear it coming down on my forehead?? I've seen it worn a few different ways, but had a heck of a time trying to figure out how it would look best.

Whenever I hear the word beret, guess who comes to mind?? Monica Lewinsky, ha ha! She definitely made the beret famous for a while. All joking aside, I do love the look, just not so sure it's one I can pull off.

These ladies sure can though! Oh and I didn't intentionally find all the girls from "The Hills" they just appeared during my search . . . funny!

Looking at these pics makes me think that I need to try wearing it back on my head a little more. My only thing with that though is - how the heck do I make it stay on my head???

UPDATE: Thank you all for the comments and suggestions of using bobby pins! I did think of that - but with this particular one, I don't think it will work with out it showing and looking bad. There are not any wholes in it for me to put BP's through. I think bobby pins would work better with one that was crocheted. Will still give it a try and see what I can do.

I love the beret you picked out. I think you should try it pushed back but as far as keeping it on, I was wondering the same thing, haha. Let us know how it works out.

Try adding a bobby pin where no one can see?

Cute! I've wondered how people get em to stay on too! Ha.

They look super cute on everyone else, I just don't know if I can pull it off. I'm always a year behind before I catch on.

I totally understand - I love hats on other people, but can't ever seem to make them work for me. Have a great weekend!

I think they are cute on girls with long hair. SO I couldn't pull it off. Give it another try!

I also LOVED that black dress you wore while you were in NWA! It looked so cute on you, too!

I love the beret and I am sure that it looks super cute on you! You just have to ROCK it! I feel the same way about scarfs...for some reason I am just not used to wearing a scarf without a coat, ha! I just do it and it never fails that someone always compliments...and that always makes it better!
