Last Friday I Was . . . .

At work in my "work" Halloween costume. Does anyone know what I was???

Here's a little hint . . . . .

"Now I aint sayin' she's a gold digger

But she aint messin' with no broke, broke!"

I was a "Gold Digger!" ha ha! I had to think of something cute yet work appropriate so I came up with this. I got a hard hat and little shovel from Lowe's and painted it gold! Actually, my sweet hubby went and got it all for me then I took the spray paint and painted the hard hat and shovel! Then I just paired it with some gold accessories, belt, shoes, jewelry and then pinned some Monopoly money on my blazer! Everyone loved it!!

It doesn't have to cost an arm a leg to be something cute and fun for Halloween, just be creative! If I had been going to a party I had thought I would have tried to find a gold dress of sorts or take some real money and pin it to a little black dress and then wear my gold shoes, hat and have my shovel! That would have been cute too!

It was fun to dress up a little. We didn't dress up this year, just didn't have time, but I was glad that I got to dress up a little bit at work and have fun with it!
