Contemplating Cameras: Need YOUR Help

I have been wanting to get a new camera for a while now and would love to hear from some of you on which ones are really good. I know I want a Digital SLR, but that's about all I know. I don't know what is best when it comes to brand: Cannon, Sony, Kodak, Nikon . . . decisions, decisions! So I need help. What suggestions do you all have? I have had the same digital camera for a while now, and while it is okay, I want something that is going to take crystal clear photos, that captures color well and offers benefits when it comes to effects.

So please let me know what your recommendations are and any suggestions you may have.

Time Flies: 10 year HS reunion

Tomorrow my hubby and I are leaving to go to my hometown, Springdale, AR for my 10 year High School reunion. I CANNOT believe it has been ten years . . wow - I feel old! ha ha! I am looking forward to it but most of all I am excited to get to see and spend time with my best friend Ashley {from Ashley's Avenue.} I go down there a few times a year to see her and we always have the best time. We have known each other since 6th grade, but have been best friends since about our SR. year of HS. We talk almost everyday and although we do not live close, when we do see eachother it's as if a day has never gone by with us apart!

I don't really feel like it's going to be so different to see some of my old classmates because through Facebook I feel like I still know them. But on the other hand, it will be different to get to see them in person and talk to them face to face. We will get back Sunday night sometime, so next week I should have lots of pics to share.

I could almost kick myself for what I am about to do, but I guess I will post a few old pics from HS. I went to a private school and our SR class was so small compared to other schools.

WATCHing Michael Kors

I am thinking of getting a new watch and have my eye on a few by Michael Kors, but this is the one I'm probably going to get:

I have a gold watch I wear a lot, as well as a cool brown Skagen watch, so I have been wanting a nice silver one that will go with everything. Michael Kors has some other fabulous watches - wish I could just get one of each! ha ha! These are some others that I think are cool!

I've also been wanting a white watch - seems that everyone has one but me.

Although I am loving all of these, especially the one in horn, I think I am going to go with the classic silver for now, but if I get a wild hair tomorrow and change my mind, it could be the one in horn - I will let you all know what I decide! =)

My Cup Runneth Over

We all have days that are good, not so good, great, and just okay. But you want to know the days and moments I love? It's when my heart feels so full of love that it could just burst. It's when I can't tell my husband enough how much I love him, it's when I want to keep hugging him, kissing him, holding his hand, it's when I stare at him in awe, it's when I my heart skips a beat and I have the feeling I did when I first fell in love with him - those are the days and moments I love and cherish so much. Those are the days I live for!

I had that feeling tonight! Such a good feeling. I had to go work today and while I was gone all I could think about was how I wanted to be at home with him! I always have love for him of course, but when life gets busy we are not always having these feelings. They do not disappear, I think they are always there - but it's the moments when you are able to step back and take a look at what you have, and what means the most in life is when you have days like this! Unfortunately life is not a fairytale. But as long as I still have days with the magical feelings, the magical moments when my cup runneth over with love, I know I am where I need to be. I know I am blessed!

July 4th Fun & Photos

I am pretty behind on blogging! oooppsss - just been so busy and haven't had the time or been too tired, but I am trying to catch up. Last weekend Mr. Nabors and I both had to work, but we still managed to enjoy the 4th when we got off. I made a few yummies to eat and he grilled some hot dogs. My lil bro was home so we chilled with him and then a couple of our friends came over. It was a fun night!

I made these pretzels and they were SOO good and so very easy!!

And to top the weekend off, we went with my little brother to get a new car. He's had a Honda Passport since high school and it pretty much died a couple weeks ago. So after some shopping around and making a deal, he found the car he wanted . . .

My hubby has a black Charger so I think after seeing ours, my brother decided that was what he wanted. It's sharp and a lot better on gas, which is good for him since he travels back and forth from Nashville a lot when he's not playing with his band. So Congrats to my lil bro, and enjoy!! Getting a new car is the best feeling and the smell of a new car . . oohh la la!!

iPhone ~ myPhone

So . . . after already having an iPod, a Mac book AND my hubby having an iPhone . . . today I finally decided it was time for me to get my own iPhone. I really need it for work and to check my e-mails when I am out and about working. I know there are so many features that I am going to enjoy and cant wait to try them all out. I just can't believe it took me this long to get one, ha! I think in a weird way I was kind of wanting to wait a while because as much I wanted th conveince of checking my e-mail with my phone, I just kept putting it off too. It's bad enough that I'm glued to the computer at times, but now I have a phone that I will be glued to at times. But hey - it's 2010 and that's what people do, right?

It was so time for a new phone too! Mr. Big had practically chewed up my other phone and I was almost embarressed to let the girl at AT&T see it today! Which btw . . . I have never had such a nice person help me with getting a phone in my life. Over the past few years I have become SO fed up with the stupid, rude people at the phone store. I used to be with Verizon (for 9 years) but today I switched over to AT&T and hope it continues to impress me.

So here's to finally catching up to my hubby & all of you out there with an iPhone. If you know of any great Apps or features I should check out, lmk!!
