Now that I have shown all the food and "pawty" decorations, it's time for pics of us with friends! Actually, I realized later that I didn't get many pics of M, which I hate. I did get a few with him and the guys being silly, but they were doing, silly, "guy things" and not so sure I want to post that on my blog! ha ha - you get the idea!

Fall PAWty Pics: Food & Favors {Part 1}

So I am finally getting around to posting pics from our "Pawty" over the weekend. For those of you who don't know, we had a Fall party/B-day for our little doggie Mr. Big! Crazy I know - but it was so fun and a great reason to have a party! It was a black and white themed party with paw prints and some other punches of color with green apples and pumpkins. I bought a few things to pull my table all together, but most everything I had! We had a great time with friends, eating, drinking and then we got the UFC fight, which was fun and also helped keep the guys entertained while us ladies did our thing!

For food, I had:

• Mini Corn Dogs (since it was a doggie party)
• Cream Cheese & Pepper Jack bites
• Apples & Caramel Dip
• Black Olive and Swiss Cheese Kabobs
• Spinach Dip
• White Cheddar Popcorn
• Paw Print Cupcakes (the paws were made out of fondant)
• Paw shaped sugar cookies with black sprinkles
• Black and white trail mix
• Drinks: Red & White Wine, Beer, and Sodas

I also had a favor table, which you will see. I had treats for my friends which was Puppy Chow. Some people don't know what this is, but it's that yummy, addicting stuff made with Chex, chocolate, peanut butter and powdered sugar. Then you will see what I had for friends to take home to their dogs.

Outside I had 2 lanterns on either side of my front door with candles in them. It looked much prettier with the candle light showing, but they wouldn't show up without the flash. It had rained a bit too, which explains why the rug looks weird! ha ha!

Me and my sweetie pie at the end of the night in one of his adorable b-day presents, a cute sweater! He got to enjoy his birthday bone a little later in the night. I got it at our local dog bakery!

Lately . . . .

I have been consuming some of this:

That because we have been SOO sick! We had our party Saturday, were fine Sunday then Monday . . . BOOM! I woke up at 6 a.m. throwing up and it didn't stop till 6:30 that night! It was TERRIBLE! I couldn't even keep water down! Luckily Mike was off work so he could take care of me. I just layed in bed all day with the trash can next to me, it was not a pretty sight! I felt SO week today and wanted to call into work, but knew I couldn't. I went for a little bit and got to leave around 2.

BUT - let me back up, this morning when I was finally able to crawl out of bed to attempt to get ready for work, Mike had already been up when he came in to tell me that he woke up throwing up, so now we are BOTH sick! He is just as bad as I was yesterday, while I am slowly trying to get back to normal. I hate being sick, but having a stomach bug is the WORST!!! I don't wish it on anyone!!

So - instead of getting on here and sharing fun pics of our weekend "Pawty" with friends, I have been so sick. Hopefully in a couple days I will be back to normal! I think there has been something going around . . . . I've heard from a few people on facebook that they have had it too! No fun!! Hope all of you are having a good week and not sick like us!!!

Fall, Friday 'n Flowers

Earlier this week I went and got some mums! I came home and added a few to my patio. I planted most of them with some plants I already had out there then set one on a little table with some pumpkins and gourds. Still got to add a few more touches out there, but I thought it all turned out pretty cute! We are having a party this weekend so I knew I needed to spruce up my patio a bit.

Then this is us from last weekend . . . we had a few friends over and by the end of the night I was snappin pics!

I was really in a flower mood I guess because I also bought some sunflowers! One of my favs!! Unfortunately they didn't last as long as they have in the past. Not quite sure why?? I was pretty disappointed they didn't last long because long stem sunflowers are not cheap - but oh well, at least I got to enjoy them for a few days!

I put together a yummy little meat and cheese tray for us and our friends! It was perfect with wine!

Well it is super late and I better hit the sack! Gotta work today (Friday) and Saturday AND finish up a few things for our party Saturday night. Happy Friday everyone and I will be back sometime over the weekend and show our fun fall "pawty!"

Gucci kids

Did any of you know that Gucci has a line for kids?? I sure didn't! But J.Lo does and her kids are modeling with her in a new ad campaign for this new line! Doesn't her little boy just look presh in the photo above with the scarf and glasses? It's so freakin cute, but doubt many kids would keep a scarf around their neck like that, ha ha! Especially a little boy!

Isn't this just picture perfect? You as the Mom wearing Gucci, looking hot as ever after having twins, and your kids wearing Gucci too! Wow! That's the life! It will be interesting to see how the Gucci line of kids clothing runs, I'm sure it will be a pretty penny! I'm not going to lie, it would be cool to dress your kids in Gucci if money was no object, but at the same time they are just going to grow out of their clothes during those young ages. At least when grown ups buy Gucci they can usually wear it forever. Especially if it's a handbag, it would last forever and no matter how skinny or fat you get, you can always carry it!!

Gettin ready for a "PAWTY"

So we have officially lost it (well let me be honest . . . I have lost it) and I am planning a birthday party for our dog, Mr. Big! ha ha!! Well, really it's just an excuse to have a party! But we are crazy about our little dog and he is going to be a year old and we want to celebrate. He stumbled in our yard at 6 weeks old a year ago and we are just so protective and crazy about this little guy!

We don't have kids yet, so he is our kid!! I suppose we need to start thinking family soon so I can plan birthday parties for kids rather then dogs. But the truth is I love planning any and all parties! It's just so fun!!

I am doing a black and white theme because 1. I just love B&W and 2. It's cute for a doggie party if you incorporate paw prints like I am.

Here is the invitation I sent out. I made them and think they turned out pretty darn cute! (I took off our address since I am posting it on here.)

I am working on some of the last, fun little details tomorrow. It will be fun! It is Saturday so I will be showing pictures of the fun "pawty" over the weekend!
